I would like to be called by the name which my parents gave to me and the name which I chose for myself. By doing this I am honoring them both as well as the path I chose. The name is Ally Albert Plummer Jr. The Prophecy. Before I was just going by “Prophecy,” before I started taking my art seriously. After watching “Hidden Colors 3” I saw how important a name is. It’s a film about slavery.
I make art from the soul, art that tells a story. Sometimes I see something I like and try to draw it. I paint, edge, sketch and a little carving. I also sing, chant, and rap as well. I also dab in a little culinary arts as well.
I have been doing art since I was a child. I perused a music path in my early teens and due to a bad experience in the studio and loosing all of my equipment, rhyme book, and demos I kind of gave up on it. I still record on my stereo and if given an opportunity I would love to sing again. Music helps me draw. I can draw in silence by my favorite songs get me amped. I took drawing serious when I lost my Dunkin Donuts job back in February 2013.
Art is life. I believe that God is an artist. He made us, the world, and sound that we hear. Food that we eat. It is powerful beyond limits and expectations. It’s infinite, forever. And deeper than the depths of oceans. Everything around is art, creative minds and amazing abilities, which come God the Creator!
