My name is Elizabeth Locke. I'm married to a man in prison, have a son who is doing an intermediate punishment sentence and is currently in work release, and personal had a brief experience years ago. It's my life goal and destiny to make a difference and help empower and give back and help change things for the prevent; as well prevent incarceration when all possible and utilize better means as well identify preventatives. My brief experience years ago, I met a 20 year old, who cried at night, sharing her horror stories as a 9 year old, whose mother sold her to men for drugs. She didn't belong in the prison and to me she should have been able to get the help needed. She was heavily medicated often and was lost. It broke my heart and led me to where I am today, striving to make a differen! ce to empower and make positive changes and keep people out of jail and help families in need.
